I probably don’t need to say it, but DON’T even bother with the stupid controversy surrounding this series! It’s a TV show...fucking relax! Ugh!

I, honestly, think it’s so stupid for people to get upset over this show...but whatever. It’s a good show! And I liked it, so figured that I’d spread the gospel! :P

Basically, it’s a completely original story about what may be the second coming of Jesus Christ, but he was born in America and was forced to flee to Mexico with his mother, Marie, in order to keep him safe from the people that are trying to kill them. The story takes place as the child, ‘Jodie’, is a twelve year old and growing up around his friends, as well as having an obvious crush on this girl Magda (Hehehe, Magda, Mary Magdalene...I see what you did there). And when a tragic event exposes the fact that Jodie has some unnatural abilities at his disposal, he begins to build up a large following, working miracles and the like.

Like I said, there’s nothing controversial about it. Well, outside of the fact that there seems to be a lot of little sexual winks here and there. But he’s twelve. Sex happens. It’s just the fact that it has anything to do with Jesus at all that’s got people bitching and moaning like they always do. This is a completely different take on the idea, and it’s been modernized, and it has an ending that I really didn’t see coming! I hope it gets a season two. So if you guys wanna try out a new six episode series, give this one a look! You will need subtitles for most of it...or be a fluent Spanish speaker...but check it out! It’s worth it! :)
