I checked out Disney Plus (one month's free sub) and watched pretty much everything I wanted to see in a day. Whereas on Netflix I am finding new stuff all the time. And more importantly, the diverse range of content I wouldn't find on Disney. I think Disney will go the way of Amazon Prime, I don't see it being bigger than Netflix. Unless Disney invest in a lot of diverse content and not just a few big IPs everyone watches at the box office. But they look set to invest most of their money in Star Wars and Marvel content, which won't be enough. Not for people like me anyway. I've enjoyed shows like Stranger Things, Lost In Space, and Black Mirror more than anything Disney's put out since the 2000s. I used to love their made for TV live action movies (Mighty Ducks, Honey I shrunk the kids, Flubber, The Rocketeer, Blank Check, The Santa Claus, etc). But they don't bother with those anymore. Although I've heard they're remaking Mighty Ducks, so we'll see. :)
