sometimes i have flashbacks like a war veteran
i let tha pen speak for me
being in tha streets is like world war three
everyday someone gettin shot cause they couldnt afford tha
drugs alcoholics spending welfare money on a forty
shorties sellin they body for loot
got my gun ready to shoot
im a soldier yall recruits
got my combat boots
and soldier fatigue
sendin me to tha jail to retrieve
my homies
2 time loser next time they throwin away tha key
as a kid i never made a's or b's
callin me crazy
cause all i wanted to do is r-a-p
parents said i was lazy
sometimes even worthless
had to keep it real everytime i got money i would purchase
drugs or pills
got guns with slugs that kills
but i alway know one thang i luv springfield
