everyday we’re together girl i fall farther away
from the belief that i’ll be alone forever in a world full of pain
in the past couple weeks honestly my feelings have changed
i now realize through your eyes the sun shall shine through the rain
everything seems perfect yet we still have the timing to blame
but it’s worth it to find a diamond like you in such rugged terrain
although things may look cloudy now, and you feel like your trapped in a cage
have patience my angel, i see OUR future having much brighter days
amazed at how you bring joy to a heart that’s usually passive
afraid due to past relationships and wrong actions relapsing
sometimes i think it’ll never, not in a million years, ever happen
then i meet a precious soul like yourself just waiting to be tagged in
if it was up to me i’d take my chances and we would flee to aspen
the cold wouldn’t be a problem with the amount of heat we’d be packing
i’m laughing cause of the reaction my body has when your around
my heart pounds and i breathe deep peep how you’ve got me astounded
but on the real, no clownin, your something really special and i’m proud
holding a girl like you for even one night, is like no other treasure i’ve found
i think of you wether i’m sleeping or a wake and it’s just a matter of time
we escape together to a better place where we’ll live lavish through rhyme
