OOC: Yeah, we'll just assume that the other is following. And... I'm guessing we're going with just picking the lock on the door, rather then trying to lure the guards out and then sneak in behind them?

Kurai flatted himself against the wall next to Vysaere. He quickly scanned their immediate area. They were against the wall, a sort of hallway, its walls made of hedges, leading forward along the stone barrier against they were now pressed. The hedge-hallway ran straight forward for about forty yards, then opened up. Kurai waited four full minutes for a guard to come through. Any well-organized guard watch would have covered a key entrance/exit corridor like this one more often then every four minutes. One did come about two minutes in, and Kurai retreated with Vysaere out of sight around the corner. They were forced to make use of the shadows, melting into them momentarily to hide from the guard's quick sweep of that stretch. The guard obviously didn't expect to find anything, therefore only a half-hearted search. Ten seconds after he had disappeared back around the corner, the catlings stood, following him on silent paws along the corridor, staying a good distance behind him.
