Subject: doc, I think the roles of Kay and Benton would be great. Seems like they would really fill the bill. They have to get back to the beginning since Benton has now blown away in the wind at Hilton Head...so sad for Kay. Even Marino was touched enough to get really dresses properly.

I haven't liked any of his other shows/movies. CB's 1st & 2nd movie in the Good Witch series was cute, but then the series suffered from what kills all movie series, "beating the dead horse of initial success." I hate Army Wives, but then I hate most of the programming on "Lifetime for Whiney Women." I would still love to see the duo in the Kay Scarpetta--Benton Wesley roles. ...Benton was supposed killed & his face found in freezer by Kay. I think the readers threw a fit, because a couple books later we learn he is in witness protection. They end up back together, but after that, everyone seems so unhappy, I kind of quit reading. I think Patricia Cornwell lost her drive to write, because her last few books have been weaker. I figure a producer could get rights to the books & then use writers to continue in the vein of the beginning 1/2 of the Scarpetta series. I think DJE & CB could really sell those roles!!!!
