Anybody who loves to watch those "flying machines" will enjoy this- great tribute to our veterans, too. I'm sure I saw Harm in one of those tomcats...(wink!)

[> [> Hey, Laurence- I've watched this about 6 times now, and I tear up each time- especially when the young pilot is shaking the hand of the older veteran in the wheelchair who lost both his left arm & leg. I saw that "Toujours Au Danger" too- I guess it was part of the motto for that group of pilots. Maybe some of them were Canadians. My mom's first language was french, but she spoke a french-canadian dialect. That's where I got "Matou" from- I heard her call our male cat that one day, and it stuck. Since it basically means "TomCat", I chose it as my HarmyBoard moniker. -- Matou/Carol, 21:47:59 01/16/13 Wed [1]

[> Great video, thanks for sharing. Inside I have put info on the "Toujours Au Danger" , The emblem shown in the video is of the Doolittle Raid, United States raid on Toyko six months after Peal Harbor. -- usmgrad, 23:27:56 01/16/13 Wed [1]

The Raider Emblem…A Badge Of Valor
The surviving members of the Doolittle Raid are united under a unique insignia commemorating their historic mission.
The elements which make up the Raider Crest represent the crews who took part in the Tokyo Raid. The seven Maltese Crosses come from the standard of the 17th Bomber Group, from which three of the squadrons were selected – the 34th Squadron, represented by the Thunderbird; the 95th Squadron, represented by the Kicking Mule; and the 37th Squadron, represented by the Tiger’s Head. The winged Helmet represents the 89th Reconnaissance Squadron.
Above, a Mitchell B-25 Bomber climbs skyward; beneath, a memorable motto symbolizes the courage and spirit of the Doolittle team: “Ever into peril”.
