Subject: Like it said in the french song written for the Dallas from the 80's for the french TV : " Dallas ton univers impitoyable ! " ( " Dallas your cut-throat world " ) We also use an expression in France : " C'est Dallas ! " ( " It's Dallas ! ") : who refers about aperson or several persons who is/are in a fantastic/incredible position. ' Dallas ' is nearly more used than ' rocambolesque ' in english : ' fantastic/incredible ', I think to remember than in France we begin to use this expression at the end of the late 90's start of the 00's.
