Subject: Count me in among those who is addicted to that scene! I'm also hoping for an uncut version on DVD. It was SO obviously chopped up! I also caught myself (thanks to JAG training) wondering what the script directions might have been!

Have you ever noticed how the subject of an image is almost always placed to the right? At the beginning of the "Castle" scene, the subject is Beckett. She's the one who's had the epiphany. She's the one who's come to see Rick. She's the one on the right side of the frame. (Not saying we don't care about Castle. I certainly did. I'm just trying to interpret the "mumbo jumbo." :-)

Anyway, at the critical moment, when the editor flipped the film, Castle moves into the frame headed toward the right (and the "body slam heard round the world"). Maybe that's the only way she could get it to go - to the right, that is.
