In reply to: Cathy F. 's message, "CASTLE - Does anyone besides me feel like they have stepped in to JAG in civilian clothes. I could just cry with where this story line is going. Waaaaaaagh!!!" on 11:26:47 04/03/12 Tue

[> [> I hope she is right. I feel Castle's reaction is a little much, they could have a least made it not a blonde ditz flight attendant. It makes him look like a middle aged buffoon. At least make it someone with substance. This whole storyline is bringing the show down. Either let them be together or just be friends but don’t start this crap to keep them apart. It just hurts the show. I did not enjoy the episode really at all. -- Hope, 22:30:27 04/03/12 Tue [1]

[> [> [> Well, in addition to this little detour, we also have the producer giving dark hints about Beckett finding out that Rick has been "protecting" her from whatever is going on with the investigation of her mother's murder. ::sigh:: It's not that all these plot points can't be interesting, but where I see them slowly circling disaster is in the writing they are not doing in these shows. They've dropped the shink Kate was going to. They've dropped the whole "voice on the phone" guy Castle was hearing from. Oops! Hit the limit (inside) -- Dancer - still watching the show, hoping for the best, but not expecting too much., 01:42:26 04/04/12 Wed [1]

In essence, this whole second half of the season has been cast adrift (pardon the metaphor) from all the underlying arcs they were supposed to be following. And if we're not going there . . . where are we going?

[> [> [> [> [> [> I agree Hope!! I said to Colie, "he's all upset and he didn't even ask her about it? How old is he anyway?" Not good writing! Use something plausible to further your plot!! -- Theresa, 09:20:37 04/07/12 Sat [1]

[> [> [> [> The dance can be fun to watch, but they need to pick up the writing a little bit. If they are going to go back to the old Castle, they need to bring back the humor. -- Dancer, 03:26:37 04/05/12 Thu [1]
