Wow, after reading this post I can't seem to understand where you are coming from with the following statement. "I have read, read, and reread all of the comments on here as well as listened to all of the debates with regard to the election of a new Dearborn County Coroner..... I can not say with any amount of certainty of the plans with which Tracy Cochran or Joe Ridgeway have on keeping the current deputies in place, I do know that Steve Callahan has stated that he plans to keep at least 3 of the current (maybe more) deputies on staff if he is elected one of which will be appointed his chief deputy". If you truly "read, read, and reread" the comments here, you would see the comments from the Callahan family stating that the same people have been in the office for years and they wanted to make a change. That right there says he plans to change things, NOT keep people on that know what they are doing.

To use your example, what Sheriff goes into office and fires all the deputies and hires all of his friends?
