There are a few that often post here trying to deflect attention away from the core issue. They want you to hear that this is about his divorce case and his children, and that is how it started, but it has long ceased to be about that. You should not trust a few recent posts, but rather go back and read ALL of the material about this prosecution. If you do, you will soon understand that this is about abuse of positions of authority to silence a critic. Dan has been using the only outlet available to try to bring to light what he views as malfeasance in the Court system and misbehavior of some of its participants. I don't know if his complaints have merit or not, nor do I care. None of us really have much of a voice in the world, and when you don't have much money it gets even harder to be heard. But this is the 21st century and there IS the internet, so it is much harder than it used to be for the powerful to snuff out the voices they don't wish to hear. So, yes, this started as an unpleasant divorce case, but our local miscreants (and those ignorant enough to believe them) who don't seem to understand what the Constitution guarantees (see http://dearborncounty.blogspot.com/2011/10/freedom-of-speech-on-trial.html ), have turned it into something altogether different. I would further inquire - what behavior on the part of anyone in the local justice system shows any evidence of having any interest in helping Dan's kids? Do you think 7 months of unnecessary incarceration and prosecution on fictitious charges amounting essentially to seditious libel have done anything to help bring a father back into their lives?
