He pulled down a skillet from the cabinet above the stove, throwing it on the stove before he flopped some burgers down onto it. "So you're going to get a job straight out of highschool? Planning on being a waitress you're whole life?" As long as he didn't think about who's baby sister she was, he thought he would be ok. The last thing he needed was for her to see him having a flashback and curling up in a fetal position somewhere, screaming his head off - that tended to happen from time to time and he was wondering how he was going to handle having her living with him when the nightmares struck which they always did, unless he was passed out drunk which was why he had drank so damn much on that mission before he went to bed every night - he didn't want to wake up his new partner with his screams of how his batallion had all died in front of him and his best friend was tortured to the point where his body looked very similiar to the ground beef he had on the stove. Shaking his head, he forced his thoughts away and instead just focused on waiting for the little blondes answer as he pulled down some seasoning and started adding some spice to the burgers.
