I'm very happy how the class turned out. As long and Franklin and Co. can put some solid wins on the table next season it looks like everything has worked out for the best. BOB can suck it!

I've been on a fix it kick as of late. A few weeks ago my ipod from circa 2007 went kaputt. Tragic!! Well, it was only the headphone jack that went kaputt. I was able to find the part here in Germany and swap out the jack. And it worked!

Last weekend I took apart my macbook pro (also circa 2007) and swapped out the hard drive with an SSD. That went pretty smoothly too, except when I was half way through I realized I needed a T6 torx screwdriver. So with my computer split open, I had to run out to the store before it closed for the rest of the weekend. Now my old computer has a little more pep in its step -- probably about 2x or so faster -- and more memory. The goal is to get it to last the rest of our stay in Munich.

For my birthday, Kate took me on a brewery tour at the largest Weissbier brewery in the world. Only 10 miles outside of Munich. She surprised me by inviting a bunch of our friends along for the ride. It was a really great day. After the tour we had 2 hours to drink all that we could. I sampled everyone of their 8 beers in that time.

In Lena news, she started scooting herself across the floor 3 weeks ago. She's almost able to pull herself up on all fours instead of slinking around like a worm. Let the constant chasing begin...

The Super Bowl sucked, as you guys know. It really sucked being out until 5am. But my boss being the American that he is, let me sleep in a little and work from home.
