Date Posted: 09:44:33 02/14/14 Fri You fellas were my first loves and will always have a special place in the ol' Heavener ticker. While on the video games topic, Destiny is also supposed to be super rad. Apparently, it's an open world game and your avatar drops in and joins up with others to complete missions and battle bad guys. Perfect for someone who has no friends or lives in a far away land. http://www.theverge.com/2014/2/7/5388758/activision-says-destiny-will-be-best-stelling-new-video-game-ip-ever My Lena update of the week: She's teething and it sucks, but only at night. She still wakes up 2-3 times a night. Everything else is pretty great. I've only watched one event (normal ski jump) for the Olympics. It's kinda a bummer but we've just been busy with other things -- like Lena. Working out is also a top priority these days. The weather here has been comparatively fantastic. It's usually in the upper 40's and tomorrow will be sunny and 60. The only downside is the skiing is pretty poor. But compared to last year's brutal winter season extending all the way through May, I will take it. You guys on the East coast seem to be getting snow every other day. I am starting to look at hotels and flights to Dublin for the Penn State game. I'm likely going to be there from Wednesday to Monday that week. I'm assuming Vic won't be coming anymore since his spawn will be due around that time. **Sniffles** I've been picking up more responsibility at work. I'm finally starting some patent prosecution work and I've started managing some litigations. Good stuff all the way around. It probably won't change anything as far as our exit strategy (i.e., get the fuck out of Germany), but it's nice to be busy and challenged for a change. I think Jono can relate. Tomorrow we are making our own sushi for the first time. I've been watching sushi making videos on youtube. It doesn't seem to difficult. It's just a matter of getting all the stuff and laying down a good technique. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
