*She blocked his blows, parrying right and left, the clang of sword against sword rang in the still air as she sought to regain advantage, thoughtless of everything but the duel. He was good...but she never missed her footing, her steps sure, she counterattacked fiercely, returning the flurry of thrusts that he had delivered just a moment before. She ducked and dodged, darting in and out of the range of his sword, searching for an opening...they were quite evenly matched. That maniac gleam was in her eye, and a fierce smile on her face as a tingle of exhileration traveled up her spine. A flush crept into her pale cheeks, fast movements heating up her body. It was her turn to handspring backwards, reflexes just a millisecond too slow this time as his swordtip brushed her cheek. She ignored the sword's bite and kept fighting with the same ferocity as before.*
