The ultimate in darts is a Nine dart finish which has only ever been done 3 times in a major competition because of just how much skill and accuracy is needed to complete the achievement. Getting a hole in one in golf is equivalant to a nine dart Finish, yet there have been loads done in majors over the years. You need a certain element of luck to get a hole in one as you're too far away from the pin to actually hit the spot where you want the ball to land. You're just aiming in a specific area and hoping luck does the rest. To get a nine dart it's all precision and accurate aiming - no hoping the dart rolls the right way, once it's hit the board - and then you need to repeat the perfect shot another 8 times once the first dart lands in the treble 20, not just the once like getting a hole in one in golf.
