Subject: Throwback Thursday

Heros, first aired January 24, 1997; from season two episode 26.
Harm and Mac engage in a tense courtroom battle when a Navy SEAL is accused of murdering his friend during a mission, and Harm goes way overboard to prove a point about firearms, firing a machine gun the court room. This is the first episode of the series in which a trial takes place in the JAG HQ courtroom.
Director: Tony Wharmby
Writers: R. Scott Gemmill

Some great exchanges between Harm and Mac in this episode also:

Mac: If you have some evidence I should know about...
Harm: You'll eventually get it, and then you can plea bargain.
Mac: In your dreams Commander.
Harm: Ohh, you don't want to be in my dreams, Major?
Mac: Red light, Commander!
Harm: Red light? There was nothing sexual in what I said, and if you think there was, then maybe I should be giving you the red light

Harm: Well, I thought it was pretty funny when you ducked under the table.
Mac: I'm a Marine, Harm. Marines don't duck.
Harm: What do Marines do?
Mac: They take cover, but they never duck.

Mac: What on earth were you thinking?
Harm: I was trying to make a point.
Mac: You blew a hole in the roof!
Harm: I guess I overdid it.

[> This is one of my favorite episodes - a good story with lots of great dialogue between Harm and Mac and that very memorable courtroom scene! I loved how they continued to mention it every so often throughout the show - I believe Bud once mentioned to Harm about that time he had 'aerated' the ceiling. I can't believe this was almost 20 years ago now - I just wrote a little ficlet the other day where I mentioned it. (It's a little NCIS crossover on ff.net - if you have a moment and are familiar with NCIS, I would be honored if you would take a look.) Thanks for the memories of this episode! -- TwilightPony21, 13:23:22 10/06/16 Thu
