I still can't believe all this Jake "The Snake" Plummer talk. Yes Walsh liked him coming out of college but lets face it the guy wouldn't be the QBOTF that we need. Those of you who hate Garcia (and I'm not one of them) will have a field day with Plummer after just one season. Thats all I'm going to say because I have already commented on this.
Lets come to our senses people he is probly going to the Bears anyway.

Boston and TO on the same Offense sounds nice but I just don't think that it will happen and even if it did, I doubt that it would work well for many reasons, all of you could realistically think of a few.

A Note on the Bucs game and our season:

I for one am glad our season is over, however I'm not happy about how it ended but what can you do. Our Defense and Special Teams just completely ran out of gas and had nothing left. We had by far the WORST Defense and Special Teams out of any team left in the playoffs. Championship teams are balenced like Philly that is what usally wins trophies. If our Defense had played like it had in the begining of the season I think we would have had a great chance to go all the way, but as the season went on it became clear that the Defense as a whole were fading.

Mostly because of our Offense and the Fire of its main playmakers our season was prolonged probly one game longer than it should have been. It really did feel like we escaped our fate in the Giants game (anyone see the movie Final Destination) and it showed what Garcia and the Offense was really capable of.

I think when you analyze the players on our Defense our unit looks impressive and most of them are, but the injuries and other factors were just to much to overcome.I commend Mora for the most part on his attempts to keep things going but the task was just to daunting.

Special Teams were just sorry besides Williams. You know its pathetic when you are happy that your kick/punt returner didn't fumble regardless of how many yards he gained, "just catch the damn ball" I would always say.

Overall I still believe when healthy that we are one of the more talented teams in the NFL at least in the Top 10. We just need a few more Key players on both sides of the Ball to be complete and hopefully management will take care of that during this offseason with some choice FAs and Draft Picks.

I see this season not as a step backwards but as a step in the right direction. We had a harder schedule and still posted a decent record and won the NFC West. We had some really exciting and great games and we had some really bad ones. Hopefully our team takes All of the good and Learns from the bad, it can only make them stronger.

and last but not least Mooch:

What can I say, I think he is a great guy and a great representative for our team and the NFL in general.

However, I think it is time for him to move on. WE have all debated the Mooch/Conservatisum issue to death and while I do think he is a great coach, I believe he would be a great coach for a different team. The Team is almost always an overall reflection of the Head Coach and I for one think that its time for a change in the image that we see when we look at the Niners.

As for who should be the next unfortunate victim, because lets face it fans, it really is a thankless job, I haven't the time to even consider our options or even if there are any. I do agree with TDon's statment about not wanting a Lame Duck coach, if a choice is to be made it needs to be done now no more playing around.

Anyway, If all goes well this Offseaon we might be looking at True Championship team next season. We have alot to be Thankful for and It looks as though things are only going to get better. I feel #6 coming on really soon :)
