The guy is a shameless self-promoter. Ugh why is it that people point to fish wrap columnists who have no crediblility to try and prove their points. Either you like him or you don't but remember that Mooch is still the 49er coach. And Garcia is still the 49er QB.

I really just don't get it. Why are people so eager to dump Mooch when coaches like Walsh and Seifert definately had poor performing teams with superior talent?

And why are some people so eager to dump on Garcia when he proved that he was a winner against the Giants? Geez, I'm glad I was overseas for the early 90's. I'd have blown a gasket hearing people complain about Young the same way!!! Come on people!!! How many big games did Young win? 1 Superbowl and a few playoffs? Fine. But how many did he lose against the Packers and the Cowboys?

Get over it! If Dilfer and Brady can win Super Bowls surely the 49ers can with Garcia at the helm. We just need to upgrade our defense and our offensive line! News flash!!! We have one playmaker on the D-line (Carter), one playmaker as a linebacker (Peterson) and a handful of good (not great) players in the secondary (Bronson, Plummer and Parrish). I see no dominating player back there....

We'll see what happens in the next few weeks I suppose.
