...from smiling all day. It feels almost criminal being a 49er fan in New York today, it's so much fun. You would hardly believe the things I've overheard around town today, unless of course the 49ers had lost...

Kevin -- That play where Terrell goes out to pass worked the last time they ran it too -- it busted and he ran for a touchdown.

About the O line, I can't praise them enough for how they've handled the last few weeks.

I was thinking last night over dinner, we beat the healthiest team in the playoffs without three of our starting offensive linemen (OK, Heitman is practically a de facto starter at this point, and Stone was able to go back in during the fourth quarter, but the point is, we essentially beat them with Willig, Heitman, Newberry, Kosier and Gragg, not Deese, Fiore, Newberry, Stone and Gragg), with one starting cornerback out and the other nursing a groin injury, and without our starting kick returner and a handful of other special teams players.

I tell you what, for the first half of that game, Kerry Collins played as great a game as a pure pocket-passing quarterback ever has, and for the second half, Jeff Garcia played as great a game as any scrambling quarterback ever has.

But yeah, this may have become TO's team yesterday, and if it's going to go all the way, it'll be because it's now TO's team as much as it is Garcia's or Mariucci's.
