How many of you knew this:

"This year, counting the $1.95 million in incentives from last season that will count this year, Garcia will earn $13.5 million -- the only quarterback who makes more is Philadelphia's Donovan McNabb.

Garcia will pocket another $250,000 if the 49ers win their playoff game next Sunday, and he could collect a total of $1.1 million if the 49ers win the Super Bowl."

Courtesy of the SF Chronicle, Sunday, December 29, 2002.

I think Garcia ranks 7th or 8th on my QB list, so that is way too much for a guy who hasn't won a playoff game. Time to put up Jeff. No more blaming the line, or the coach.

Jake Plummer in Chicago or Denver makes the most sense, so what do you guys think of bringing Brian Griese here?
