A feeling of impending disaster suddenly overtook the stallion, sending ice-cold fingers of trepidation running down his spine. Stamping his foot in agitation, he lifted his head and looked about. His vision failed to settle on any sources of immediate danger. So why did he have this sinking feeling that something was dreadfully wrong? A low snort tickled his nostrils as he circled the two mares, his muzzle lowering to brush against Echo as he passed. Once again, his inspection yielded nothing out of the ordinary. His brain insisted that something was amiss however, leaving him extremely confused. Nickering uncertainly, he prodded Echo gently with his muzzle, hoping to rouse her so that they might leave this area and its horrible feeling of doom.
