 Alexis skipped gamely ahead as if she had not a worry in the world. All around her she could hear the voices and mindlinks of her friends, but she refused to give into panic. So hoped that her brave face would keep Jeff from freaking out. Cause she knew, if Jeff freaked and bolted then so would she.

::Do not worry yourself so child.:: Came Monet's warm tone. ::Are you not Cheysuli? And as such do you not claim yourself a child of the gods?::

Alexis smiled slightly and wished that she could go to the tiger. She wanted to hug him fiecly and lose herself in the joy of lirshape.

But she could not. Not when Jeff's whole world centered itself on Alexis being a normal everyday girl. Ohh but what she wouldn't give just to shrug off duty and run free with Moent.

::I am with you dear 'Lexi. You know I am.:: Forcing himself to push aside all that Gwen had told him Monet sent his love through the link to Alexis and Angie both. ::Now then girls. Shall we show this guardian how tough our little clan can be?::

Alex nodded and looked to Jeff as she entered the mountain pass. "Well? Are you coming or not? We are only just begun with this journay."
