*OOC: I plan on doing a major villain and a fighter and maybe RP some extras into the plot. WHO SHALL BE MY LACKIES?!*

There was a deafening crack as the man sniping sent his bullet true to his aim, resulting in the entering and exiting of a bullet in a man's skull. Some said metal was a broken fashion, others said it was useless, but this man found it exhilarating. With all the pulse cannons and ion projectors, he found the recoil and sound (lasers make no sound except for the click of the trigger being squeezed, the generators powering up, or the resulting explosions, unless outfitted with a recoil/sound generator *largely popular amongst war-like races who like big sounds and even bigger explosions*)exhilarating and to be the best kind of reward for blowing someone's fraggin' skull off their head. He figured that if he couldn't partake in the kill in an immediate fashion, then he might as well feel the pressure in his arm to signify a job well done. He also found that vintage weapons made for great personal defense, as most people didn't realize the true capacity in which a metal slug could penetrate most conventional types of armor. Sure, they didn't have that sheer destructive power of say, a X-340 Particle Accelerator Cannon (reduces any armored vehicle into a pile of goo by creating internal friction to the point of combustion, effects a tad bit gorier on carbon based lifeforms, banned by several treaties and extremely rare on the black market) but were far more demanding and FUN! Three more men were dropped in this fashion as the man continued to snipe to his heart's content. Sadly, this man was neither an imp or a Jacrack (slang term for rebels where he was from, resulting from the tortures of a man simply kown as Jack) but merely enjoyed the fresh sight of blood and the screams of pain from those who dared defile the sacred grounds of his ancestors. Despite being a trained marskman, his specialty was in a largely unpracticed form of spear fighting. Using a special diamond tipped spear, this man was known as one of the 5 Diamond Knights (The others having been MIA for over 2 years, he is currently the last and is looking for replacements.) He was caught slightly off guard as an enemy had snuck up on him, but quickly fended off the attacker, with his diamond spear doing the immediate negotiations. The man quickly began to move on, as he had eliminated a group of imps and had seen a small skirmish to the south, apparently consisting of two swordsmen and an imperial elite...

(Notice how this turned from War eradicating an enemy base into a full-scale war? Oh, and the Diamond Knights were largely Anti-Imperial but respected the Imps policies, etc. They're kind of like mercenaries, and the top 5 in the organization are called The 5 Knights of Diamond Will, not necessarily good guys but not necessarily bad guys either. I want to make them a full-on fighting division eventually so we could have a third element, maybe even add some intrigue as to the true ambitions of the Diamond Knights, etc.)
