The NASA log paddle wheel fouls rapidly on my 300 moored April to November, on swinging mooring,on lower Thames atTilbury. mostly tiny shrimp and later barnacles. I have heard that layers of PTFE dry spray built up while the boat is out of the water, will help increase the paddle wheels clean running time. Any one tried this method, does it work? I really do not like removing the log unit at end of every sail.
