I know this is just my opinion, and you have yours, and we aren't always going to agree. But I think the American people have become nothing more then sheep who simply do what they're told without questioning anything. The majority of voters in the US didn't even vote in the last election! Bush was elected by a minority of a minority because most couldn't be bothered with a presidential election. The American people should be ashamed, especially the ones who talk about how great our country is because we are free and have elected leaders etc, and then don't vote and allow their freedoms to be restricted for a false sense of security.

And you're right, the democrats are pretty pathetic right now and I doubt they will stand much of a chance against Bush. But after four years of an economy in the toliet, millions unemployed, war after war, more people losing their homes then ever before, less people with health care then ever before, and everything else Bush has done to screw up this country, the American people will support him because thats what they have been told to do. If the people can't wake up and question this shit and demand better then they'll get more of the same.
