According to the Shanshu Prophecy, Angel is supposed to "live" when he wins redemption. It's generally assumed that this means he will become human.

However, as I recall there were some problems with the translation, and I don't recall the word "human" being mentioned. We don't know exactly what is being prophesied here - and "prophecies are tricky things".

Part of the definition of a species is the ability to breed true, to reproduce. Angel did this when Connor was conceived. Could this count as being "alive" for purposes of the prophecy ? Is it possible that Angel has already Shanshued and just doesn't realize it ?
