I love the stuff about the mad-dash through the gardens/trellises/little walls. As for entering the outer wall...making wild animal noises sounds like a stretch, as does climbing the wall, especially if we didn't have a tree or anything for aid. Picking the lock may be cliche and pretty easy, but at least it's plausible...creating a diversion and getting the guards to open the door is realistic as well. I'd vote for either of those two. About entering the keep, I like the sluice gate idea! (Which I never would have thought of, that's quite brilliant of you.) We'd be in the gardens anyway, and it's creative as well as convenient. It might be fun to play off of the 'catlings dislike water' thing for a post or two, as well. I defininately agree about planning stuff out...in fact, we might want to plan out all of it -- assassination, capture, torture, ending -- before posting at all. Of course, I'm an organization freak...tell me what you think.
