Author: jenks-no way would I kill you for our differences of opinion, my beloved friend
Subject: I know that others would find it offensive, but I listened to an interview that Cibrian did with Rachel Ray and he made some good points, one being that the men brought their wives to dinner for the food and entertainment, not just the ladies. Maybe I'll look the club up and we do have to remember what Chicago was like in those days. I saw the listing and I watch all of them except MF, DWTS, and BBT. I really hope they give some time to the other new ones.
In reply to: jenks 's message, "Well, I see the hatchets are already out and The Playboy Club has been cancelled after 3 episodes. Cibrian is not bad on the eyes, but what frosts me the most is that a Parental TV Group was right on the trail to axe it. What are the kids doing up at that hour? It didn't have the ratings in the 18-49 group!! Well, I'm well beyond that group and I count. Just sounding off..." on 08:41:45 10/05/11 Wed

[> [> I'd been to the playboy club in manhattan a few times back in the late 70s early 80s. It didn't feel sexist - and it was a dress nice to go place and had an exclusive feel to it. I had no trouble going there - it was fun stepping up to the more sophisticated side of NYC- -- chris k, 09:33:59 10/06/11 Thu [1]
