Maybe they don't feel the need to be "great" anymore. Even if a show is cancelled before it's barely begun, everyone has already gotten paid, and those actors have nother notch on their resume. They'll pop up in the next "big" thing for the next season or mid-season replacement on one of a zillion networks offering scripted shows. So many opportunities in H'wood to be on tv, but very little incentive to be excellent. When there were only 3 networks, you had to be "the best". -- HarmyBoard Entertainment
