Subject: IMHO "Close to Home" was perfect for DJE since Jag. CBS never gave it a chance. I too prefer him in a drama. I dont get it, he is such a good looking leading man type, a Cary Grant, Rock Hudson type gorgeous man. What a hunk!! He needs to be back on tv on a reg. basis.
In reply to: CeeGee 's message, "I just finished re-watching all ten seasons of JAG, it took a couple of months for me to complete but finished it today. I really do miss that show! One thing I thought of though when it was over is that DJE certainly has not come into any recurring tv series since. I wonder if he regrets ending his role as Harm? CB has certainly done better landing recurring series between Army Wives now filming season 7 and her Good Witch movies. What in the world happened to David?" on 16:16:34 01/02/13 Wed

[> Is everyone forgetting The Guard? He wasn't in it as much as I would have liked, but I did like his character. I liked the series, (it was filmed close to where I live), and was sad when it got cancelled. -- Cece, 07:19:36 01/06/13 Sun [1]

[> [> (I know I'll get slaughtered for this but here goes anyway.) I can no longer watch CB. I loved her so much as Mac and thought she was beautiful. But I just can not watch actors, particularly ones I really like, who have had too much work done. (inside) -- Cece...who does not think that age is ugly., 07:45:21 01/06/13 Sun [1]

Not just CB, a whole list of lovely faces that would have still been lovely had they been allowed to age. The lifted brows giving a surprised look, the too thin nose jobs, the cheek implants, the too tight jowel lift, the botoxed foreheads, and collagen lips. What are these actors going to look like as they age? On the bright side, a whole bunch of British and American actresses are starting to speak out against it, and are letting themselves go au naturelle. A bit of not so obvious work I'm okay with.

I know in the Hollywood youth culture, it's hard for mature actresses to get work, but they still are not going to get work looking so fake, and still not young. I don't mind corrective surgery or a bit of subtle work, where it doesn't look obvious. Look at all the working actresses who I think are fabulous: Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, etc. Check out this article Click here. I know that some Hollywood actresses have joined this group.

CB fans, don't bother yelling at me. If I hadn't liked her so much, I wouldn't care. imo, she would have aged beautifully without doing anything.

[> [> [> [> I really like her acting too but I highly doubt anyone will put the two of them together for another show cause everyone will always think of them as Harm & Mac. I don't know of any great tv couples that got paired together again on a different show. I could be wrong but I can't think of any off hand! -- CeeGee, 21:21:11 01/07/13 Mon [1]
