[> [> I am a Brit, albeit a displaced one. Snogging means necking or kissing in the romantic sense. You wouldn't snog a friends or family. . As mj said, a git is not a nice person, but calling someone a git is really rude. As Chris said, Sod is not a nice word, but it is very mild and wouldn't raise any eyebrows. I use it all the time, as in "I'm sodding off now," instead of "I'm going." Mild correction for Chris, lorry (or truck) is spelt with 2 Rs, not like the girl's name. Chris is also right with Pram, a short form for the very old term, Perambulator, (something you push as you walk.) -- Cece, 15:44:25 02/24/13 Sun [1]

What do you think about any possible new Star Wars movie, people? Are you excited about the new Star Wars movie being planned soon??? I am not totaly sure about Disney directing it, but then again it could be great. I guess its cool that the franchise will continue to re-invent itself. I have been a big fan since the original trilogy. Cant wait to see a possible episode 7. Agree / disagree?

I'm a Brit and I'll give you the answers but if its wrong you will need to give the sentence the word is in.
Git - rotter/ rat normally used as "you old git"
Jumper - sweater many different styles ie v neck jumper etc
Snipes - depends on context but usually its someone makes unflattering comments about another individual ie Joanne continue her snipes at jack
Snoggle - is one of those words where I need the sentence, technically snoggle isn't a word. It has been used as a merging of snog (French kiss) and snuggle (cuddle) or dogs toy with a treat dispencer

[> [> lol- definitely a bit of a difference between a french kiss and a dog toy!! LOL - My only challenge here was to describe Git you said Rotter - which also needs defining for us gringos- : ) - and thanks for popping in to help -- chris k, 08:46:53 03/03/13 Sun [1]
