Hafer you are slacking....

Set to decide between Minnesota and Indiana on Monday night, Christian Campbell learned of big news that he couldn't ignore.

"I committed to Penn State," he told Scout.com. "Yeah, I just talked to Coach [James] Franklin.

"Yes, I committed!"

Franklin recruited the Phenix City (Ala.) Central defensive back for some time while the head coach at Vanderbilt, and he reached out to the three-star again afer accepting the Penn State job. An official visit never materialized, and he wasn't offered until Monday.

"Just to let y'all know, Coach Franklin been recruiting me before Minnesota and Indiana, know your facts," Campbell Tweeted soon after informing Scout of the news. "Y'all just don't know how hard it was!"

Ranked as the No. 122 safety in the class of 2014 at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, Campbell upped his stock after his senior season as one of the premier defensive backs in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star week practices and the game itself.

View a sample of his late work, which resulted in late offers from Minnesota, Indiana, Missouri and several others in addition to the Nittany Lions, from his big week below.
