They basically walked over to a lifeless contestant, flipped him on his back, transferred him to a Civil War era stretcher and then carted him off. Hooray for spinal injuries!!! side note...modern day ski jumpers are never more than 10-15 feet off the ground (I did not know this). These flying guys are much nuttier!
