Subject: Believe to Understand

I guess that CC's way of making up for a crappy episode- tacking on a tag line that puts the responsibility of understanding the episode on my willingness to believe the idiocy rather than having the episode itself be any good.

I hated it! In fact, I hate the new mythology! The old mythology had romance. It was scary. It was believable! I'm not even interested in how little Jeffrey and Samantha grew up together.

I only have a few minutes to post this, but some things that were just awful-

•The Piller actor/entire premise. I didn't believe him for a second. What a crappy way for Mulder to find his sister. This psychic suddenly appears with all the answers and then is supposed to parallel Mulder in the end when he refuses to believe because it takes away his hope? BLEEEAH! (Does anyone watch The Practice? Remember the judge on last week's ep? Why does everyone on TV remind me of George W. Bush? Yeah, this guy did too.)

•Samantha's diary. How convienent. Why was this the only thing left in the house? Did she somehow have the foresight to hide it so that one day her brother (with brown hair who used to tease her ) would find it?

•The meeting between Scully and CGBS. It could have been really good, but instead.... well, you saw it.

•And what about the way the nurse identified Samantha's father? "When I asked him to put out his cigarette, he gave me the coldest look." Just one of many stupid, stupid things.

I'm sure I have more that I hate, but I really have to run. Did anyone actually like the episode? Hungry was WAY better than this!

hairytoes, waiting to be reamed
