She let out a low breath and nodded, her hand moving to run down his cheek once more before finding his hand and squeezing gently. "Good, cuz I need you." She stated softly, honestly, shifting as she felt that suddenly familiar tug in her abdomen, the tightening that she felt there. "Everything is going to be ok..." She murmured softly, her head tipping back against the pillow as she shifted again, feeling the pressure building until the contraction hit her body and made her small form tense up, tears piercing her eyes again. She made it through that one pretty quietly, not screaming out but in obvious pain as her body shook with the force of the baby trying to position itself for the birth. At that exact moment the doctor came in, smiling lightly at everyone. She had been Shay's doctor since she found out she was pregnant and was aware of Remy's condition so had taken special precautions in selecting just two nurses to help her and to keep the place as calm as possible for both her patient and her husbands sake. 'Alright, lets see how we are doing here' she stated, shifting to check how far Shay had dialated. 'Well, look like this baby is about ready to get things started. I am asking whoever isn't staying in for the delivery to go ahead and head out now and those who are to scrub up.' With that she went about getting her own scrubs and things on, checking monitors and such. She was about to say something in return before the doctor came in and she stepped back against her boyfriends chest, resting her head against his shoulder as she drew his arms around her, resting his hands against her own flat stomach. Her eyes watched everything, taking it all in before she she finally nodded. "I'll go get Kate." She turned then, leaning up to press a kiss to Kyr's jaw. "I'll see you in a bit." Stepping away from him, she went to give Shay a kiss on her cheek, brushing her hair back and telling her to get that baby out quick before, after one last look at Kyr, she made her way out of the room to get Shay's mom.
