UK - you may be right about Bayless, but I have to agree with him on this one. I'm not saying Mariucci is a bad coach but that he isn't a good coach. He is just like his philosopy, balanced, conservative, low-risk, tenative, so-so, ho-hum kind of a coach, and I think the 49ers could do better, especially if we could end up getting some compensation for Mariucci leaving. If that doesn't happen we'll have to play the hand we are dealt and hope to God that York, Donahue & Walsh open the floodgates with better and deeper talent, because if we've Mariucci, Mora & Garcia for a prolonged period of time, I am not sure if you could get them enough help to get them over the hump any time soon.
