"Quite a mess it is, Adrian. But you ask for what I will not give. The purpose for the Lights fighting at all is to rid the Light lands of your kind. By giving in to your demands, the sacrifices made by the Lights would be for naught. I cannot accept that."

His supple frame was held rigid, dark orbs locked onto the similar brown eyes of his opponent.
