In reply to: 's message, "So can a contestant compete for a title they had before if the directors are different? For example if I competed as Miss Spartanburg three years ago under the old director but now want to compete again for that title since there is a new director, is this possible?" on Monday, July 09, 01:24:12pm

This is the rule in the Franchise Agreement quoted:

Rule 5 - G:

A contestant shall NOT hold the same title more than once, or work with the same director more than once, even if her local title has changed. The only exception to this rule is if she held the title as a teen, then she is eligible to hold the same title as a Miss.

So... NO... It is not allowed to hold the same title again straight from the rules and contract provided to LED's.

So... while the title of "Miss Spartanburg" is off the table...is that prelim open to her? They usually have 3 or 4 crowns at that one. Could she win 1 of the other titles at that prelim? Just curious.

[> [> [> [> Subject: Dont think so because its the same local pageant. Like theyd have to crown in separate pageant but not sure... that is a question for the state office but pretty sure if the titles are held in the same competition then no.
