I'd say for a teen to be competitive - headshots, great wardrobe, 9 ad pages, awesome talent, interview skills and top 5 CMNH, hotel fees for 10 days and hair and makeup, then you're looking at around 10K. Now you can save a lot by selling ad pages (one ad page is 300)and 9 of them will get you opening number and fitness outfit. You can also sell community spirit pages, they are $1000 each (10 business cards at $100 each), if you sell one community spirit page you will get a 500 credit towards your hotel bill, if you sell 2 community spirit pages you get 1000 credit towards your hotel bill. All of that can be raised by fundraising in your community. For wardrobe, I think its crazy to spend thousands when you can buy something someone else wore for a fraction of the cost. The big money is CMN and that's at least $4,000 to be competitive. You can also raise that money too, however it just becomes a lot of money to raise in the long run and friends and family get a little weary of giving. Good luck
