Why is everyone so quick to abandon the advice given to us by our forefathers? To believe they were inspired by the Lord, and then to turn around and totally ignore their advice ( advice that worked until WWI when we blatantly ignored it ) seems absurd. Just like I said in an earlier post... the abandoning of this advice is setting us up for, yet again, a world war. Everyone is in chaos over terrorism and are starting to panic. ( which makes you wonder... what came first? The chaos or the terrorism? Hm... ) People are looking for buddies, support, and promises with hopes that the buddies will bail them out, support them in their time of need, and keep their petty promises.

To name a few of the REAL reasons for the threat of terrorism...

NAFTA, CAFTA, ETC... which tempt and prompt AMERICANS to move overseas with their ideas and products, things in which the terrorists do NOT like. Chuck brought up a good point of us taking sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. VERY good point, Chuck. Imagine the problems that would occur if we took a side in EVERY SINGLE conflict in the world! I know a good place to start! Lets send a ton of money and troops to the Protestants in Ireland! That would be fun, huh?!?! Lets not only anger half of Ireland, but let's anger half of the whole Christian world! Oh yeah! ( I sure hope my sarcasm did not go unnoticed with that whole Ireland thing... )

Military imperialism... also called FASCISM in many areas of history. People tend to take it personally when a nation sends armed soldiers to their country. Imagine if Germany, England, or Saudi Arabia started opening bases in the US. I would not be happy with that one bit. Even if they did NOT pose any kind of threat to ME or my FAMILY, they would still be inadvertently corrupting our values as their numbers and influence grew. I would want them out ASAP.

Our own government making legal matters out of issues that are NO ONE'S BUSINESS... I'll take three issues currently in the news. Gay marriage, abortion, and beastiality ( a very pleasant, up-and-coming issue. ) These things would have never been a problem until they were brought up. As a result of the MAYHEM behind these horrible acts of immorality, our church has come out in support of bans on them. Things are SO BAD, that our own CHURCH has come out and, against the constitution, advised us to ban these acts! Its gotten to the point where our only choice is to either accept these acts or ban them! How PATHETIC is that??? Drop all three of these issues ( and many more ) from any legal significance and let them disappear. Allow these PERVERTS to commit these acts so that they don't go on television spreading their ideas, causing them to either gain support or hatred. To the terrorists, these types of things are a big 'NO-NO'!!! They are not able to comprehend WHY we actually discuss them and vote on them. THAT is the aspect of our "neo-freedom" ( also called democracy, mob rule, organized anarchy, 'Bushism' ) that they hate!

Our retaliation techniques... This is something that should not HAVE to be an issue, but something that we may now have to consider if we want to save our butts in Iraq. The terrorists are TERRORISTS. Their concept of war is blowing up, without question or hesitation, the very things that will hurt the opposition the most. Anything less to them does NOT earn their respect. ( Yes, respect... they are a perverse people who take pleasure in these acts, so its not hard to believe it would take a horrible act for them to actually respect anyone. ) We are over there dilly-dallying around while they are simply blowing up the things which we adore. They do this, and we have almost NO reaction! Sure, we might institute a CURFEW or stregnthen anti-iraqi firearms laws... but those are NOT the things they will understand or respect! They think THEY are strong, so anything LESS than them is WEAK and does NOT merit respect. While it would be VERY wrong and VERY dangerous if misused, we need to retaliate better... in a way they can understand and respect. Start blowing up what THEY view as adoreable and commit acts of terror against THEM. But like I said, we should never have to get to that point.

Those are just a few. We don't have to compromise or 'beat' the enemy in order to defeat them. All we have to do is follow some of the advice of our founding fathers... the very men we view as divinely inspired. We need to follow the constitution, which we also believe to be divinely inspired. The constitution does not provoke immorality, yet, immorality DOES provoke the destruction of the constitution, our rights, respect of the world, and our own safety. We should try to not look for more answers, but to eliminate the questions. Give freedom a chance!

We're tasting the blood more than ever before, and we have not even begun to experience, let alone comprehend its bitterness.
