Subject: Correct Me If I Am Wrong (I'm sure you will if I am or not), But....

it seems so me that the Constitution was written assuming that most people believed in or held to some natural law.

Quote by Blood:

" I'll take three issues currently in the news. Gay marriage, abortion, and beastiality ( a very pleasant, up-and-coming issue. ) These things would have never been a problem until they were brought up. As a result of the MAYHEM behind these horrible acts of immorality, our church has come out in support of bans on them. Things are SO BAD, that our own CHURCH has come out and, against the constitution, advised us to ban these acts! "

I don't think that our forefathers ever envisioned a day when the Constitution would ever be used to protect these "rights". If people are stupid enough now, to believe that our forefathers meant to have the engagement of these activities protected and mainstreamed, then our church had better say something or many of our own members are going to start to question their validity as is evident by the growing acceptance of abortion and gay rights among some in our ranks.
