 Gabriel entered the tent and sat down near Jeff. His yellow eyes remained gentle. "I brought you and..." he looked to Gwen and smiled softly. "...your pet some food. I know you must be hungry."

He sat the plate down close to Jeff and sighed. "Let me begin by saying I am sorry for the way I man handled you earlier. It was deeply wrong of me. But, with the way you were screaming and carrying on you left me very little choice. If I had let you continue you would have gotten all three of us killed."

He sat back slowly and sigh again deeply. "That being said I think you and I should become better acquainted." He extended a hand, "My name is Gabriel. I am a Cheysuli warrior, that much is true. The large black she-wolf is my lir, Rio. She really is quite beautiful don't you think?"

He offered Jeff a devious smile. "Now then. What is your proper name young man?"
