Heh, I do that often. Flip through the old shit because the new shit just won't come fast enough....>< Seriously, though, SxK fluff is interesting because people pick it apart so much--yet, as much as they deny what's behind it all, they simply can't change the fact that these scenes exist and they sure as hell exist for a reason. Just because Subaru is caught up with Seishirou doesn't mean he's sterile (heh) It wouldn't surprise me at all if the man was sexually frustrated, seeing as he *obviously* hasn't been laid in years (or not at all---god, being a twenty-five year old virgin...I'd kill myself) And Kamui obviously is infatuated with him, hell, I'd be too--just imagine what his horomones were doing in SxK scene #1 (Vol 9)!! ^^ Sure, Subaru can't love Kamui the same way he loves Seishirou, but certainly is entirely capable of developing some sort of affection for the boy--be it solace, sexuality, or even gentle love. You know, what bugs me about fans is that they analyse characters based on what they know about their personalities--which is understandable, I can't see Subaru jumping around like Sorata--but people cannot be read like books, no matter who they are. THESE ARE MEN AND THEY HAVE HOROMONES. They get confused, get sidetracked, and often do things they don't mean. And who *wouldn't* want to touch Kamui? He's only the most beautiful creature on Earth (hello, he's god)
