"Again you are simply avoiding the issue, and responding to a simple question with an evasive and meaningless answer."

Your depiction of my answers is revealing in itself.

"No one here has ever disputed the principle that a genuine Guru can authorise his disciples to teach if he chooses to. That is a non-issue. It is not in dispute."

Good. This is the main principle we're discussing here.

"a) Can any disciple set themselves up as a Kriya teacher without permission from their Guru?"

Certainly they can, and they do. There's no law against it. The real question is do they have the spiritual power of the Guru? Certainly not without the blessing of the Guru.

And how does one tell if the person giving Kriya really has the blessing of the Guru? In my opinion, the answer is- are there powerful results for the person practicing Kriya. And can you see these results in more than just one person. That's my view only- I offer it here as just that.

I suspect you approach this differently, and that there are many ways that people would answer this question. Is there only one right answer? I think not.

"b) Did the limited request which P Yogananda made to Walters, Davis and some others to help with initiations constitute permission for them to become teachers of yoga and found their own organisations claiming to represent the Paramahansa?"

Your depiction of these requests by Yogananda as 'limited requests' is your opinion only, based on what I don't know. Peggy Deitz was requested by Yogananda to give people Kriya- On her own- not as 'help with initiations'. Same with Walters. Same with Davis.

Did that authority end when Yoganandaji left the body? In my opinion, no. I have a suspicion we will have to agree to disagree on this.
