Well... the confession was a bit surprising... Forget one's instinct to kill? What predator forgot such a basic urge? He had killed a man or two in his mortal days -self-defense!- and he found the notion strange that a return of mortality would erase such survival skills... But...
Alex was of a sweeter vintage.
A slender hand reaching to twine around Alex's far cheek and pull the angel's face back to him, he silenced any further speech with a kiss, eyes slipping to Alex's before leaning down to nuzzle slowly into the mortal neck. Suckling a kiss over the pulse beneath the golden flesh, he grazed the succulent skin with gentle fangs, moving with a lover's tender slowness to land upon the perfect location. To rob away a heartbeat. And give a new life. Moving with the first swiftness to sink the fangs into the flesh, the warm well of blood brought a purr from the midnight predator and he leaned lightly into Alex as he pulled at the thundering heart.
