He knew how to kill, he'd done it before when he was younger. But the killing for one of these blood devils was different. So very different. They had to know how to seduce, which was no problem for him. They had to be silent and without care to kill a victim. Alex could do all of that with the exception of being uncaring of his victims. His heart was just too tender to allow him to harm anyone without a good reason. His train of thought breaks, and a startled gasp is given at the sink of fangs into his neck, but he quickly calms. He's still, eyes closed, hand resting on Deangelo's shoulder. His heartbeat gradually begins to slow, his breathing becoming somewhat a choked gasp, eyes opening wide at the pain of his body beginning to fade away. Deangelo...I'm scared, he hisses to the other's mind, clenching his eyes shut. It had been over one thousand years before he was first changed, and he had forgotten how painful the transformation really was, no matter how gentle the predator at your neck was.
