He took another pull from his cigarette as the man woke and spoke, his head cocked at the strange way he moved and spoke. Something wasn't as it seemed, but he couldn't put his thumb on it. He took a deep breath through his nose, sampling the man's scent on the cool night air... Nothing out of the ordinary for a human, but he still had an odd feeling about this man

"Its going to rain soon. Do you have somewhere to go?" He didn't normally care about humans, there was no point. It was like caring what happened to every bunny in the world, most already had a destiny. And that was rarely to live happily ever after with their soulmate... He leaned a muscled shoulder against the door, watching the stranger with a hooded gaze. He wasn't worried about offering the stranger his couch, it wasn't like a human could do much to harm him.
