Subject: You can spend as much or as little as you want in pageantry. The hotel for the week long stay will run you a few hundred dollars. A hair/makeup artist for the week of the state competition is usually over $1,000. Then there is outfits for appearances, a talent coach, personal trainer/gym membership, walking coach, beauty products, spray tans, etc.

Thank you :) I guess I should have clarified. Wardrobe, coaching, trainers, H&M, spray tan, and any other incidentals aside, if a girl wins or prelim or goes at-large (teen) how much should she expect to pay to be a a part of the competition itself? Are there entry fees or are they simply required to raise a certain amount for CMN? How many ad pages are they required to sell? How much are the ad pages? And are there any other costs associated directly with being a participant in the state pageant? Thanks
